Founder - Home VisitorI grew up in the beautiful mountains of Los Alamos, New Mexico, and have lived and worked in several regions around the country. In 2020, my husband and I settled in his hometown of Laramie to be closer to family, where we now live in his childhood home. Renovating our old house eats up much of our time and most of our money. We are the proud parents of four adult children and four spoiled cats. In our free time, my husband and I enjoy hiking, camping, and traveling.
I have loved working with young children for as long as I can remember, babysitting and nannying in my teens and early 20s. I began my career as a preschool teacher, and have taught Kindergarten and first grade. Recognizing the importance of the first years of a child's life and the challenges of parenting, I transitioned into early intervention and eventually into parenting education, where I support parents of infants and toddlers as they learn to navigate those critical early years. I help parents monitor their children’s development, find positive, nurturing ways to discipline, and reduce the stress of parenting. I love sharing my knowledge and experience with parents to give children the best possible start in life.

Founder - Operations Officer
Laramie has always been home. After proudly serving over 26 years in the military, I returned here with a renewed appreciation for this vibrant community. My background is in project management, IT, and cybersecurity, where precision and planning are paramount. Those skills now translate into ensuring the smooth operations of Baby Buffaloes.
While I might not be directly visiting families, my focus is on empowering our incredible Home Visitor program. From program development to resource management, my goal is to ensure our Home Visitors have the resources, tools, and training they need to make a positive impact on the lives of Laramie's youngest citizens.
As a parent myself, my passion for families and child development stems from a deep belief in the transformative power of early social-emotional development and low-stress parenting (OK, I know it’s seldom low-stress! But as low-stress as possible). Witnessing the magic that unfolds when families receive the right support fuels my dedication to this organization.
When I'm not strategizing operations, you'll likely find me enjoying the Wyoming outdoors. Skiing, biking, hiking, and camping are my go-to activities. In my free time, I've also been tackling a rather ambitious (and time-consuming!) project: renovating my childhood home. Let's just say, there's a reason they call it a "labor of love."
I'm honored to be part of the team at Baby Buffaloes of Laramie, and I'm committed to ensuring our organization lays a strong foundation for Laramie's families and children.
